Terms of Service — PlugFai

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PlugFai application (“the App”), operated by L&J Digital Solutions LLC, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

The App is an informational electric-vehicle (EV) charging map for Thailand. It helps you find charging stations, see connector and power details, and hand a destination to a navigation app. It is not a charging network, payment platform, or navigation service.

2. No accounts, no payments (current version)

In the current version (MVP) the App requires no account, no login, and no payment. You do not need to provide any personal information to use it.

3. Station data is provided “as is” and may be inaccurate

Station information (location, operator, connector, power, opening hours, access details) is compiled from third-party sources and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
You should always confirm details with the station/network operator before relying on them.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose of any station data.

4. No live-availability claims

The App does not show whether a charger is currently free, in use, or out of service, and does not provide real-time availability. Any availability/status shown is for demonstration only and must not be relied upon.

5. Trip planning is an estimate only

Trip-planning distances, times, and related figures are estimates only.
The App does not provide turn-by-turn navigation or real-time traffic.
Do not rely on estimates for safety-critical or time-critical decisions; always follow road rules, local laws, and the guidance of your navigation app.

When you tap Navigate, the App hands the destination to a third-party navigation app installed on your device (e.g. Google Maps, Apple Maps). That handoff and subsequent navigation are governed by the third-party app’s own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or operation of third-party navigation.

7. Third-party services and data

The App uses third-party services and data, including:

Map tiles: OpenStreetMap / OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data is licensed under the ODbL).
Routing demo: OSRM.
Geocoding/search: Photon.
Charging-station data: OpenStreetMap (ODbL), Open Charge Map (CC BY 4.0), and data.go.th (DGA Open Government License).

Required attributions are shown in the App’s About / Settings screen and on the map. Use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and licences.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its interface, and its original content are owned by us or our licensors.
Third-party map data and station data remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their licences (ODbL, CC BY 4.0, DGA Open Government License).
You may not reproduce, distribute, scrape, or create derivative works from the App or its content except as permitted by these Terms or the applicable third-party licences.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the App unlawfully; (b) attempt to scrape, extract, or bulk-collect data from the App; (c) reverse-engineer or circumvent the App; (d) use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it or its underlying services; or (e) interfere with any third party’s use of the App.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP OR ITS CONTENT — INCLUDING RELIANCE ON STATION DATA OR TRIP-PLANNING ESTIMATES — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the App and/or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
